goldendoodle life expectancy

At the time, existing retrievers were not skilled in retrieving over both land and water so they were crossed with the best water spaniels to create the breed that is now known as the Golden Retriever. The breed was first accepted by The Kennel Club in England in 1903 but it didn’t make its way to the U. S. until 1925. Today, the Golden Retriever is consistently ranked as the third most popular breed according to AKC registration after the Labrador Retriever and the German Shepherd. As a gun dog, the Golden Retriever has a large, strong build and a thick, water repellent coat.

It is an absolute credit to you that we are able to have our precious Helly. Everyone asks where we got her and we happily tell them all about McKenzie Doodles and how wonderful you have been. Thank you so much for everything. We feel so fortunate to have the perfect puppy and find it difficult to remember our life without her!""We bought our dog Charlie, the Irish Doodle from you a year ago. We just love him. He was one of the smaller ones, and now weighs right at 50lbs, but has very long legs. He is such a character. He's very smart and has been getting along with our new baby. I found out I was pregnant the weekend we picked him up. We never really had any problems with him chewing things up. He does like to run so we go every morning and sometimes at night too depending on the weather.

Properly maintained Goldendoodles are calm and easy going while requiring regular exercise. They have an overwhelming tendency to be especially good with children and make fantastic family pets. After doing a lot of research, we decided to breed the wonderful Bernedoodle cross. We are breeding both Standard and Mini/Medium Bernedoodles. Bernedoodles are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Standard or Miniature Poodle. The Standard Bernedoodle weighs 70 90 pounds while the Mini/Medium Bernedoodles are expected to be 35 50 pounds. Like Goldendoodles, Bernedoodles are expected to shed minimally and be well tolerated by people with allergies. Unlike the Bernese Mountain Dog, they have a much longer life expectancy, between 12 and 18 years, depending on their size. They are excellent family dogs, and are great around children and other pets. As Goldendoodle breeders hop on the bandwagon, more and more seem to not be very experienced with canine in general, much less properly care for the puppies they bring into this world. Laziness or lack of owner irresponsibility, there really is no excuse NOT to vaccinate your Goldendoodle or young puppies when it is readily available in most pet stores, feed stores as well as many canine supply sites all across the internet.
